First Celerio Long Ride

It was May 30, 2023 when Honda ADV 160 led Celerio to traverse the 650-kilometer distance departed from Phase-1, Block-3, Lot-7, Lulua Subdivision, Kasanyangan, ZC to Davao City. It passed by Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, Pagadian City, SND (Sultan Naga Demaporo), Lanao del Norte, Picong, Malabang, Lanao del Sur, Matanog, Parang, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, Pigcawayan, Midsayap, Kidapawan City, and Makilala, North Cotabato. Ainehr, Mai-Mai (Cath), and I took lunch (baon) at BM Bakeshop, Pagadian City. We took our supper in Suntony's Inn, Midsayap and stayed overnight there.

On May 31, Celerio was ahead Honda ADV 160 departing Suntony's Inn at around 7:30 a.m. It refueled in Shell, Makilala with a 3-bar indicator left out of full-tank (more or less 30 liters) unleaded gasoline in Zamboanga City.

Towards Davao City, we entered Bansalan, Davao del Sur until we turned rightward of the traffic light of Digos City. From there, Celerio led leftward direction to Santa Cruz, the border municipality of Davao City.

From Davao City to BGC via South Cotabato-Sarangani Road

Before, I returned to MBHTE-BARMM, I tried to visit the unfinished Davao City Coastal Road purposely for picture taking. Alhmadulillah, the guard accepted my request to enter the on-going construction of coastal road.

April 30, 2023 was a brilliant pleasing day for reporting to Bangsamoro Government Center (BGC), Cotabato City where H-ADV 160 used to park for almost months after long ride. From Davao City to Gensan City was just one-and-a-half hour ride. H-ADV 160 parked at the other side of the road fronting General Santos city Hall.

After taking pictures, MAPSME led the ride along South Cotabato-Sarangani Coastal Road towards Palimbang passing by Maasim, Kiamba, and Maitum Municipalities. The portrait below is the entrance to Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat where PNP checkpoint asked every traveler to log in for record purpose. When I was about to take selfie, one of the PNP personnel took my Vivo S5 and gave a shot.

Kalamansig came after Palimbang. Although the road was cemented, it was so narrow zigzagging over the mountains. H-ADV 160 just met few drivers and riders from Kalamansig to Palimbang. Lebak was next to Kalamansig. It was there near to South Upi where I took my baon (lunch) on its sidewalk. Showers of rain began when I was between Upi and DOS (Datu Odin Sinsuat) Municipality.
